Thank you for requesting scholarship materials for 2012. We are excited to work with you to help make a way for you to attend City on a Hill.

Before we provide any student with a scholarship, we need them to demonstrate a good faith effort to raise all or part of their tuition money. Therefore, we’ve created a system that will allow just that.

Any student requesting a scholarship to City on a Hill is being asked to make three requests for help before requesting a scholarship from Family First. You can ask:

• parents
• extended family members
• family friends
• church members
• employers
• teachers
• local businesspersons

Simply put your name in the blank on the letter, explain that you need assistance to attend the conference, and ask that the letter be returned to Family First at 610 J Street, Suite 10; Lincoln, NE 68508. Please tell the person you’re asking to assist you that Family First needs the letters in hand by May 15, 2012.

If you have asked three people for help but still haven’t raised $350, please write a brief note explaining your financial need and send it to us. You may include this with the rest of your application materials. We will do all that we can to help you come to the conference if you will follow these steps.
