Family First Volunteer Network
Family First Volunteer Opportunities
There are many ways you can get involved with the work of Family First. Whether you’re sending a letter to the editor, contacting your legislator, organizing a voter registration drive at your church, or you want to help Family First at our office – you CAN make a difference!

Here are just a few ways you can get involved:
Event Assistant– Assist in the setup, operation, and clean up of various Family First events around the state. Normally volunteers are needed in the early afternoon and/or evenings.
Exhibit Representative – Represent FF at a table of materials at other organizations’ events. Normally requires two to eight hour block of time. Need to be familiar with Family First. (Training may be required.)
Prayer Team – Pray for Family First and receive regular prayer updates.
FF Liaison – Liaisons are designated by the leadership of their organization, and serve as the key point of contact for Family First. They receive information from Family First, then work closely with the leadership of their organization on various projects/issues. Liaisons receive Family First emails and pass along practical ways to stay informed and get involved. Some liaisons coordinate and supervise voter registration yearly. Prior to elections, they distribute Family First Voter Guides. Liaisons may consider many other ideas for activism, including: establishing a Civic Awareness Group, maintaining a Family First display at their organization, or leading a Truth Project small group. Approximate commitment: 2-5 hours per month.
Donation of professional services – Donate your talent or business services to help Family First, i.e. printing services, running A/V equipment at events, graphic design, marketing, etc.
Office Assistant, occasional basis – Periodically help in the Family First office with filing, typing, calls, and miscellaneous office duties.
Office Assistant, regular basis – Commit to a regular weekly (or bi-weekly) time in the FF office. You will be assigned to assist a specific staff member and have regular office duties. Minimum two hour requirement.
Bulk Mail Assistant – Label and assemble envelopes or prepare packages for mailing. These projects are generally time-sensitive. Normally, the projects may be completed in the Family First office or from your home.
Policy Research Assistant – Conduct research on various projects as help is needed.
Legislative Monitor – Attend committee hearings at the state Capitol as needed during the legislative session (approximately January through May) and report back to Family First.
Letter-to-the-Editor Writer – Available to periodically submit your own letters or letters drafted by Family First staff.
