“I wanted Jarrod to go to City on a Hill in 2004, but it didn’t happen. When I saw the reduced tuition for 2005, I was excited! That was a great help to our budget. We feel so strongly about having him attend that we let him skip out on a family reunion in the Black Hills. We don’t regret that decision. Thank you for all the time and effort you put forth to train our future leaders.”
- Jane Moore, Omaha

“This program developed my daughter’s belief system by giving her solid, Biblical based reasons for a Christian worldview. It used current issues involving our state and helped her understand the governmental process better. She has made solid Christian friends from other cities, and they are communicating and holding each other up. While Katrina was already a leader, City helped her develop and expand her skills.”

“City on a Hill is a fantastic opportunity that our two oldest daughters, Jenna and Justine, have been able to experience (June 2001 and June 2003). Even though they both went to the conference not knowing anyone and being quite apprehensive, they did not want to leave at the end of the week! They both said that it was one of the best, most meaningful and most valuable experiences they had ever had. Not only did they learn critical ways to think, discern and defend their faith, they also were able to connect with fellow believers from around the state, which they still enjoy corresponding with. The time spent in the legislature has proven invaluable, as they learned first hand about our Nebraska government. One result that we are very pleased about is that our daughters have become even more politically interested, and want to stay informed about the political process and issues. City on a Hill is one of the best investments, both intellectually and financially, that any young person could make, and we heartily recommend this to any young person who is serious about making a difference in this culture! Thank you!”

“My daughter spent a week in Lincoln attending the City on a Hill conference. I cannot describe to you the level of excitement she brought home. She came away from the conference with a feeling of empowerment, knowing there are things she, as a student, can to start changes in her school and town.”
- Margaret Om, Auburn
