Why Designate a Liason
Why Designate a Family First Liaison?
Pastors often tell us that staying current on the issues and finding a trustworthy source of information is a priority, but also a real challenge.
That’s where Family First can help!
Family First has amassed a wealth of information and opportunities on key social and moral issues, and we want to be a resource for you. The last thing we want to do is “tell churches what they should be doing.” Family First’s heart is to serve the local church!
We have found it is best for most pastors to have one person identified to receive key information as a Liaison between your church and Family First. The Liaison receives information on what’s possible, and shares ideas and opportunities that might fit your church culture and environment. The Liaison might be someone already serving in your church office, or maybe a church member who has a heart for biblical values and public policy. He or she will be kept informed by Family First, and can serve as your “go to” person for voter registration drives, The Truth Project, and Action Alerts.
Please take a moment to review the Liaison Job Description and consider who in your church might enjoy serving as the Family First Liaison.
If you would like to talk with us about selecting a Liaison, don’t hesitate to contact us at 402-435-3210 or 1-877-435-3210 toll free or email us at info@familyfirst.org
