Dave Bydalek
Executive Director

Dave Bydalek was one of the founding members of Family First, and has served as Executive Director since 2001. Prior to his work with Family First, he was an Assistant Attorney General under Don Stenberg, and a policy advisor to former Governor Mike Johanns.

Dave believes that Family First is at its best when it is equipping Nebraskans to make a difference. "We’re a small organization, but if we can provide people with good information and show them why it is so important to uphold the family, we’ve done our job."

Dave married Tanya in 1989, and they have four kids, Brittany, Haley, Lauren and Drew. He earned his J.D. from UNL Law College in 1991. In his spare time, Dave tries to remember what it was like to have spare time.
