Church and State
Our vision is to see the state of Nebraska transformed by the influence of churches and pastors as they stand together for righteousness, preach the truth, and serve as the moral conscience of society.
How can my church get involved?
1. Designate a liaison to serve as the primary point of contact between your church and Family First.
2. Host voter registration at least twice a year.
3. Host a Christian Citizenship Sunday each year – preach on biblical foundations of civic involvement and how to apply biblical worldview to our role as citizens. Visit Family Research Council for resources.
4. Equip your congregation with the facts, statistics, and talking points on today’s cultural issues. A great place to start is our Family Issue Fact Sheets.
5. Find out which elected officials represent you and your church. Click here to find your State Senator.
6. Consider getting to know your leaders; let us help you set up a personal appointment.
7. Find out how your church can engage the culture:

8. Conduct a Truth Project bible study. A DVD-based biblical worldview curriculum for small groups.
